Travel information :	The Travel Tips Best time to catch breathtaking views of Mount Klatakan and Batugenteng is between 7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 6 pm before sunset. A great time to experience the colors of Bali’s ceremonial parades is during Cremation period from July to August, and the festivals month of October. Very often, particularly in the more popular tourist spots, you will find local Balinese women or children approach you with a “gift” of goodwill ( usually a necklace). The initial claim that it’s free is often followed by an obligation to buy the rest of her wares. So, an upfront “no” saves you a lot of un necessary awkwardness later. As most of the attractions are a tad off the beaten path, toilet facilities tend to be less than indulgent. So be mentally prepared to hold your breath, and bring your own toilet paper. If you find yourself utterly lost, do not hesitate to ask the locals who are more than happy to assist the confused tourist. Simply say the name of your next destination, and follow the hand signs. It is handy to have some change Rp 1.000 to Rp 5.000 for entrance fee or donations. You will find the Balinese in our local villages very friendly and eager to practice their English with you. It is important culturally to respect some of their Balinese customs, try not to touch them on their heads, try not to have your feet facing them if seated, try not to use your left hand if possible and please wear a sarong and sash if entering their local temples.
